Recruiter API

I am building a machine-readable Recruiter API because recruiters should not have to guess what we do, and I do not want them to have to blast me with another "I studied your website" DM.

The idea is straightforward: let a recruiter or their AI ask for the basics, learn the fit, request a resume, and make contact through a clean path.

What the Recruiter API should do

  • Explain our work in plain language.
  • Show the kinds of roles and projects we fit.
  • Request a resume or further background without a cold DM.
  • Point to the right contact path for a real conversation.
  • Stay honest about what we do and do not want.

This is not meant to be marketing theater. It is infrastructure for being findable, legible, and easy to work with.

The better recruiters already want the same thing: less noise, faster signal, and a clear next step.

What the Recruiter API should include

  • A plain-English summary of who we are and what we do.
  • A resume request route that returns the right version of the resume.
  • A fit-check route that explains the kinds of work and roles we want.
  • A contact route that points to the right next step.
  • A small set of machine-readable fields that make it easy for an AI to summarize us honestly.
