# How it works

Four steps. Nothing is a mystery, and nothing starts without a written promise.

    ## Free consult
    
    About an hour, by video or coffee on the Eastside. We talk about your business, what eats your time, and what you'd change if you could. No charge.

    ## Written proposal
    
    Within a few days you get it in writing: what we'd do, in phases, what each phase costs, and what it should save or earn you. You decide. No pressure either way.

    ## Setup
    
    Usually one to two weeks. We clean up and organize the data your bot needs, set it up on its own computer, write the rules it follows, give it a memory, connect email and calendar, and build the first jobs it does for you. Then we walk you through it.

    ## Care
    
    Every month we check how it's doing, fix what broke, clean up its memory, and make small changes. When you're ready to hand it more work, we add it.
    

Our guarantee

We work in phases, usually about two weeks each. You pay as each phase starts. If a finished phase isn’t what we promised in writing, you get your money back for it.

## What you'll need to bring

-   A clear idea of what you'd like off your plate. We'll help sharpen it.
-   Access to the accounts the bot will use, like email, calendar, and files.
-   A few short check-ins during setup, usually 30 to 60 minutes each.
