## Organization

Common Sense Systems, Inc. is a consulting firm based in Kirkland, WA, founded in 1996. We apply Theory of Constraints (TOC) methodology to help organizations identify and exploit their primary constraint, accelerating throughput and eliminating operational bottlenecks. We also use AI-assisted analysis, web scraping, and structured-data review when those tools help make a system easier to understand. ## Founder

John Sambrook is a TOC Jonah Certified systems architect and constraint analyst.
He holds credentials from TOCICO and a degree from Washington State University.
He has deep expertise in healthcare patient flow, medical device software (IEC
62304, IEC 60601), embedded systems engineering, and throughput accounting. His
current public work also includes local AI workflows, JSON-LD and structured-
data analysis, and web-scraping-based diagnostics for local businesses.

## Founder Philosophy

John does not treat consulting and technical work as separate identities. He
looks for work that creates real business value for clients and still respects
the underlying system, whether that means a high-stakes operational analysis, a
proof-of-concept project, or deep technical implementation. The site's
satisfaction guarantee and offer analysis are part of that stance: sometimes it
is advice, sometimes it is hands-on work, often it is both, and the result
should create real value without unnecessary losers.
