Practices
Which door is yours?
Same idea, four doors: find what’s limiting progress, then work on that. Start with the
situation you are in.
Sales
The constraint is in the market.
For a company or an individual when the stuck part is demand: not enough interest, not enough of the right customers, or customers who will not buy. We look at the offer, the next step after a good conversation, and who is allowed to ask for the business.
This is not the door if the work is sitting inside the operation, if you need software built, or if you already have a full sales organization and a VP of Revenue. Those are different stuck parts.

Flow
Your people are busy. Is the work moving?
For when everyone is occupied and almost nothing finishes: waiting, rework, pile-up, and too much open work. The question is whether the work itself is moving, not whether people are busy.
This is not the door if customers are not showing up or not buying. Making the shop faster will not create demand that is not there.

AI
You're investing in AI. Confirm it will pay off.
For owners already spending on AI, or about to, who need an honest look at whether it will change the business. Confirm means test the case, not guarantee the outcome.
This is not the door if you want a vendor to install a stack, or if you cannot yet say what in the business should change. A demo is not payoff.

Software
Got an embedded software project that's stuck?
For software that has to ship. Today this path is the embedded practice: firmware, devices, existing C and C++ trees, and verification. A broader software satellite may come later; for now this is the door.
This is not the door if the stuck part is selling, or how work moves through the company. Those belong on Sales or Flow.

Not sure where your problem fits?
Tell me what is going on. If I am not the right person, I will often send you to someone
who is a much better fit.
